Meetup @ GOAT
At GOAT we believe in the power of community! What better way to embrace our wider community than hosting meetups where you can meet new climbers, friends, and climbing partners? We offer discounted Day Passes for all our meetups ($21!) that also include free rental shoes and harnesses. All meetups are FREE for Goat Members. Feel free to either purchase a meetup day pass by clicking on any* meetup below, or on the day of in person. See below for all Meetups we currently offer!
CLIMB/R – Every Tuesday 6:30-9PM
The CLIMB/R Meetup (Climbing Lover’s Inclusive Meetup: Boulders / Ropes) is the perfect general weekly meetup to meet people in the community, find climbing partners (for both Top Rope and Lead!) and learn helpful climbing advice from our Meetup Coordinator! No prior climbing experience necessary, so this is also a great way to get into the sport.
BIPOC Meetup: Second to last Wednesday of the month, 7-9PM
Our monthly BIPOC Meetup is a great way for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) individuals to meet other people in their community, as well as the broader Goat Community as a whole! This is also a great way to find climbing partners and learn helpful climbing tips and tricks from our BIPOC Meetup Coordinator! No prior experience necessary, so another great way to get into the sport!
Stonewall Senders (LGBTQ+) Meetup: First Wednesday of every month, 6:30-9PM
The goal of this group is to connect transgender and gender non-conforming climbers, foster a community of support and inclusion, and increase the visibility of transgender and gender non-conforming climbers within the community. This group is to support and brainstorm ideas for trans climbing related events and hangouts as well as a place to exchange news and information within the climbing community along with gender related news/joy for those who join us.
Transcend Community Meetup: 3rd Monday of the month.
Our monthly Stonewall Senders Meetup is a great way for members of the LGBTQ+ community to meet other queer climbers, as well as the Goat community as a whole! Similar to the above two meetups, just a great place to meet people, find climbing partners, and get some good climbing advice from our LGBTQ+ Meetup Coordinator. No prior experience necessary
